Terms and Conditions

By visiting the Vans Urban Bicycle Co (hereinafter referred as “VUBC”) website you accept and agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the VUBC website. We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time we see fit; this means we recommend that you check these Terms & Conditions on a regular basis before placing an order. As VUBC is governed by the Malaysian statutory law this will not affect your statutory rights.


VUBC has a comprehensive return policy. If you would like to return an item simply follow the instructions listed in our Returns Policy as listed below.


Return & Exchangeable

1)       All items sold and delivered are not returnable / exchangeable saved and except where it is manufacturers defect.

2)       In order to qualify for a return or exchange from a manufacturer defects, customer shall be required to complete the online returns form, after which Customer Service shall contact the customer on the steps to be taken.

3)       All items must be unused, abused and/or in original packaging before the said steps can be taken for such exchange or refund.

4)       Email us at onlinesales@vansurbanbicycle.com  and we will send you the link and/to the access to the return forms, where upon it shall be based on the confirmation email we sent you when you placed the order. 

Postage Cost of Return Items

1)       If for reasons that the said items sold are a manufacturing fault, then all the cost of return shall be borne by VUBC. However, except for manufacturing faults, the cost of postage shall be borne by the customer.

2)       For bigger items such as complete bikes and frames, a courier shall be arranged to pick them up from customer in which case a further amount would be advised and the said amount shall be deducted from the customer to cover the cost of this pick up.

Warranty & Return

1)       To submit for a claim on the warranty, kindly send us an email at onlinesales@vansurbanbicycle.com to include a description of what happened and some photos of the parts that failed.

2)       VUBC shall assess the eligibility of the warranty claim on case to case basis.

3)       If it is a case of warranty replacement, we will ask you to send it back to us. Once we receive it, we can send you a replacement or store credit, according to our discretion. We can only cover the cost of shipping the product back to you.

We have done our best to make returns and warranty cases easy and clear. If you have any questions, drop us an email and we’ll be happy to clear up any questions you have.



We do our best to ensure availability of all advertised products and make our best efforts to dispatch all products purchased from VUBC within the most expeditious time frame – this usually occurs within five (5) business day.

If there is a delay with any of the products you have ordered we will notify you via email, and the product will be dispatched as soon as it becomes available, or the order will be amended at our discretion. For this reason, if you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately in order to ensure you get your goods as soon as possible.

VUBC does not accept liability for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. But we will do our best to get all orders sent out as quickly as possible. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time, just contact onlinesales@vansurbanbicycle.com with your order number. In such instance all items ordered must be returned in its original packaging and VUBC shall retain the rights of refund to its full discretion.



VUBC cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a third-party spare part or accessory. Please also make sure you have read your warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair an item. VUBC cannot be held responsible if the item is damaged or your warranty is voided during any installation or usage.

Please also remember that some manufacturer guarantees may be on condition that you engage a qualified bicycle mechanic. The product details, specifications and general suitability information contained on VUBC is the best we have available at the time of its publication. VUBC cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or inaccuracy of any advice given, particularly advice given as regards the repair of other items.



VUBC shall maintain the sales of its item to the best of its availability, in terms of size, colours and its respective models. VUBC hereby reserved its rights to withdraw an item for stocking reasons or because it has become obsolete or damaged. If you have placed an order for an item that we no longer have in stock or that is otherwise unavailable we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative or refund, at our discretion.



We persuade all users of VUBC to participate and leave reviews, comments and product questions on our website. When you submit a review or opinion to our website in the form of a product enquiry, review, or customer comment what you have submitted to VUBC is not copyright protected. We have to frequently check this content for suitability and we reserve the right to remove, reject or edit or display it in multiple places at any time. All comments and remarks made by the users shall be the sole responsibilities of the users.


VUBC is not liable for damages or expenses that occur or are perceived to occur through the use of its website. This includes, but is not limited to, lost income, profits, damage to property, third party claims, and economic or commercial losses.

You have the right to cancel orders that have been delayed at any time and get a refund from VUBC prior to the item being dispatched. VUBC will do its best to get all orders sent as quickly as is permissible but we accept no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products you have ordered from us. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

PLEASE NOTE: VUBC cannot be held responsible, or provide compensation for loss, for any change of address or delivery instructions after an order has been placed. Please consider this carefully.



VUBC enforces a strict privacy policy. VUBC will never sell or pass on your name and address to any other organisation without your consent. Your details are confidential and you will never receive unsolicited mail as a result of ordering from VUBC. The provisions of your Personal Data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide VUBC your Personal Data, VUBC will not be able to process your Personal Data for the purpose outlined below. VUBC may collect your Personal Data from a variety of source such as :-

i)        From filling up application or registration form or similar form, whether in electronic, written form or otherwise.

ii)       From publicly available sources such as directories

iii)      From VUBC Facebook pages, if you like or are a fan of such pages

iv)      From credit reporting agencies

v)       When you interact and communicate with VUBC at any event or activities

vi)      By using VUBC website, which includes all websites operated by VUBC and its affiliated companies, organisations

VUBC is dedicated to respecting your privacy. You can visit VUBC without revealing any information about yourself as a guest. However, some information is required in order to process orders. We also require you to maintain the confidentiality of your username and password for your VUBC account.

All content included in this site; including images, text and graphics, is owned and expressly controlled by VUBC. When you enter any of the VUBC web pages, you agree that you may only download the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. VUBC does not allow any of these pages to be downloaded, stored, copied, broadcast, displayed or shown in public without the prior express written permission of VUBC.


To process and complete your order, we require your name, billing address, phone number, email address and credit card information. We use this information to process your order and, if any questions should arise, to contact you about your order. If we need to contact you, we will contact you via email first. If unsuccessful we may then try to contact you by phone.

Any information provided by you will be used for VUBC purposes only. However, VUBC may need to provide your name and delivery address to third parties that are involved in the processing, i.e. the courier we use to deliver your order or the financial institution that issued your credit card. Your information will not be shared with other individuals or companies (such as direct mail organizations or other third parties) unless required by law.

There are times when we may request information from you, such as your name, address and e-mail address. VUBC will always do its best to preserve the accuracy of any personal information you do supply to us. You can help VUBC update and maintain the accuracy of any personal information you supply by using the My Account pages or notifying us of any changes to your address, title, phone number or email address.

By submitting information to VUBC, you consent to the collection and use of this information by VUBC and its Service Provider. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.

VUBC will never sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. To improve our customer service, we use non-identifying statistics obtained from our customer database. We will never disclose identifying information of individual customers to advertisers or other parties. We do not, in any way, use or share information submitted to us by our customers.
